THIS IS THE 2025/26 SEGUNDA FEDERACIÓN GROUP III FIXTURE LIST FOR VCF MESTALLA
The Valencia CF reserve team will kick off the campaign against CD Alcoyano at El Collao.
VCF Mestalla faced the third matchday of the Premier League International Cup this Wednesday against Wolverhampton Wanderers FC U21, at The New Bucks Head facilities in England at 8 pm kick-off time.
Both sides had a fair share of chances in the early goings of the first half. The first VCF Mestalla chance fell to Rodrigo Rodriges who couldn’t get past Wolverhampton’s U21 keeper Moulden.
Shortly after, Wolverhampton Wanderers FC U21 tried their luck from a corner kick with Jack Hodnett’s effort whistling over the crossbar.
VCF took charge of proceedings and enjoyed a few clear-cut chances through Mario Domínguez who rattled the crossbar, and then a counter-attack where Joseda Menargues was denied by the keeper once again.
Aforementioned Joseda Menargues broke the deadlock following a flick-on from a Tiago Ribeiro corner kick which found its way into the net with Rodrigo ready to turn it in at the back post.
The second half saw VCF Mestalla dictate both the play and tempo so much so, that they came mighty close to doubling their lead through a Rodrigo which was saved by the goalkeeper and then a solo move from Yellu whose effort which took a deflection off Mario on its way in.
The scoreline remained unchanged despite VCF Mestalla’s persistence.
